Lips like Ruby

So, Stephie told you about our day in Big Bear (and our makeup looks) in her “Words to live by” post. Now, here is a tutorial for how to get the perfect long lasting red lip.

My favorite red lipstick is MAC’s Ruby Woo, and one of my favorite red lipliners is Napoleon Perdis’s Raccoco Red.

20140321_080147-1The first thing I do is line my lips. If you have thin lips, you can conceal your lips, then draw above your lip line so your lips can appear fuller.

Feel free to stop at this point if your into that sort of thing.

20140321_080420-2Then I fill in the lips with lip liner – that’s one of the tricks for long lasting coverage. Lip liners are also good to use as lipsticks. They have a matte finish and they last longer than average lipsticks.

Your lips are GORGEOUS! I wish I could get away with red lipstick like that… it just doesn’t work with my coloring. I do love it tho :)

      Thanks Julie!
that’s why I love this lipstick, it has a blue undertone that goes with most skintones!
